We’ll set out from Pisa and travel through breathtaking landscapes, immersing ourselves in local history and traditions. During the tour, you’ll visit some of the most fascinating and picturesque places in the area:

Medici Aqueduct: We’ll begin our journey with a stop at the imposing Medici Aqueduct, an engineering masterpiece bearing the mark of the Grand Dukes of Tuscany. We’ll stroll beneath its arches and admire the panoramic view of the surrounding hills.

Certosa di Calci: Our tour will continue to the Certosa di Calci, a fascinating monastery nestled in the Pisan mountains, where history and spirituality come together. The tranquility of this place will envelop you as we explore its roots and traditions. (There is no planned interior tour of this site.)

Torrette di Caprona: Next, we’ll admire the Torrette di Caprona, medieval towers that rise above the Tuscan landscape, perched on a rocky outcrop.

Pieve di Santa Giulia: We’ll continue on to the Pieve di Santa Giulia, a Romanesque church that tells ancient stories of faith and art. Its tranquility and rural charm will make you feel as if you’ve stepped back in time.

Refreshments: In the town of Calci, you can take a break at the famous artisanal pastry shop “Andreoni,” where you can enjoy delicious pastries or sandwiches, or choose something to drink, such as a great cup of coffee, a cappuccino, fruit juices, soft drinks, and more.
