The unique beauty of the Cinque Terre National Park. Hiking from Manarola to Monterosso

€165 per person
This hike is set in one of most unique environment bordering Tuscany. The Cinque Terre National Park is now a worldwide known name and for good reason: Its coastlines are the perfect balance of human activities and natural environment.

Most of the villages are at sea level, locked between steep hills that lead straight in to the sea, and this make walking quite interesting. To move from one village to the other we will have to gain some altitude first and this, in Cinque Terre, is made by walking on steep staircases.
The fatigue will disappear once we will start gazing around.

The hike will start in Manarola, the second most south of the Cinque Terre and will head north to stop in all the other villages that make this area so unique. Our path will be the one that the locals used to do to go from one village to the other, or to reach the many vineyards that flourish in the thousand miles of terraced land that dominate the area.

From Manarola we start walking straight up until we reach Volastra, (40 mins) where our climbs ends. From there is a lovely levelled walk up to Corniglia, the highest of the Cinque Terre. We stop here for a break/lunch and we visit the village. Then we move north once more on some nice up and downs that take us to the sea level again in the village of Vernazza.
Here we will be able to decide if we prefer to push an hour and half more to Monterosso and walk all the Cinque Terre or just chill out in its beautiful main square and enjoy the sunset.
Want to see all the Terre without walking? No problem, we hop on a train and head to Monterosso or Riomaggiore.
Once we are all good to go and our hearts are full with beauty we can indulge in one last treat: going back to La Spezia by sea taking a ferry and see everything again, but from the unique point that sea level can offer.
